6 x Honorable Mentions in this years IPPAWARDS (iPhone Photography Awards) in categories Lifestyle, Trees and Others. So fortunate once again to be included in the acknowledged photographers for 2014 and to have work shown in such good company. To my knowledge the only other Australian photographer to receive honorable mentions this year was Michelle Robinson
Three images of mine that picked up ‘Honorable Mentions’ in this years 6th Annual iPhone Photography Awards. These were taken using Marvin Lee’s Lomora app for iPhone.
Congratulation to Holly Wesley for picking up the Photographer of the Year award in this years iPhone Photography Awards. Holly’s winning image is reproduced below.

I was fortunate enough to receive honorable mentions this year in three different categories, so I guess I’m quite happy to be included in such good company. Thanks IPPAWARDS.
The winners of the 5th Annual iPhone Phoptography Awards were announced today.
A big congratulations to Jimmy Mazur who won the Photographer of the Year with this image of two young boys playing in an old VW.

Congratulations to all the category winners and photographers receiving honorable mentions. Although not as lucky as 2011 (Winner in ‘Nature’ and ‘Others’), I was fortunate enough to be included amongst the photographers whose works were selected for honorable mentions in the “Landscape” and “People” categories. You can see my entries here, here and here.
This is an international contest with thousands of entries from over 20 countries. It’s nice to have the work acknowledged in this manner.
A big thanks to the organizers who made it possible.
Nice to wake up this morning to an email from the people at the iPhone Photography Awards to let me know that two of my submissions had been included amongst this years winners. And the irony of it is, I had forgotten that I’d entered.
A big congratulations to Lea Birch who picked up the ‘Photographer of the Year’ award. Overall 96 images made the final cut in a variety of categories.
My selected works were some of my earliest experiments with Hipstamatic and Plastic Bullet.
See link to the winners gallery on the sidebar.
iPhone + Hipstamatic app. This was my entry that made it into the finals of this years inaugural NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photography Prize. There were approx 350 entries from which 35 finalists were selected. Very happy to have this work hanging alongside some of the countries best photographers e.g., Dean Sewell, Andrew Quilry, Peter Solness, William Yang ect. Sold on the opening day. Taken at McKenzies Beach south east of Bateman’s Bay. Giclee printed on silk cotton rag 30 x 30 cm edition of 15.
