Nice to wake up this morning to an email from the people at the iPhone Photography Awards to let me know that two of my submissions had been included amongst this years winners. And the irony of it is, I had forgotten that I’d entered.

A big congratulations to Lea Birch who picked up the ‘Photographer of the Year’ award. Overall 96 images made the final cut in a variety of categories.
My selected works were some of my earliest experiments with Hipstamatic and Plastic Bullet.
See link to the winners gallery on the sidebar.
The Hipstamatics Exhibition at the Orange Dot Gallery in London is open and meeting with good press and responses. Photos from the opening night show a full gallery. This is the first European exhibition of images taken on mobile devices using the Hipstamatic app that mimics the original Hipstamatic Camera first made in 1982 and which ceased production after the untimely death of the brothers who were the designers and makers of the camera. Only 157 cameras were made and for this exhibition 157 photographers had their works selected for the first show of it’s kind. Thanks to the organizers for including one of my images in the show.
