This is not a photograph (series)

These were some of the first images from this project. The reference image for the first of this series of about 30 images was a photograph taken at a Canon Conference / Overseas Passenger Terminal / Circular Quay during ‘Vivid’ about 6 years ago. Whilst ‘photographic’ in nature, they are not photographs (no camera, no subject, no photographer). The reference image was taken on an iPhone.

These last few posts were from experiments using colour field reference images that i had made as part of a photographic series some years before. In every instance of generative image making I use my own work, either existing (paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, digital images) or prepare a reference image for the work or series.
